May 1st - Race for the Cure The Susan G Komen foundations's quest for a cure is Clann C's main charitable effore. As such, Clann C will once again be participating in this event. Please contact RavenHarte if you want to sponsor one of us in the event. June 25th - POTMC Midsummer Night's Dream Clann C will be hosting this midsummer fair to raise funds for POTMC. Clann C will also be performing the Midsummer Ritual. Oct 1st - Strawberry Cheesecake for the Cure Clann C is the driving force behind Cabaret for the Cure, a Passionately Pink for the Cure team raising awareness about breast cancer and funds for the Susan G Komen foundation. This is our signature event showcasing the beautiful burlesque, cabaret & belly dancers we have come to know and love from North & South Carolina. . PAST CHARITABLE EFFORTS Strawberry Cheesecake for the Cure In Oct 2009 Clann C created Cabaret for the Cure, a Passionately Pink for the Cure fundraising team for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. RavenHarte was the Organizer of the fundraising effort and produced the “Strawberry Cheesecake for the Cure” burlesque & bellydance event, which was our main fundraising effort. This show generated $1500.00 in ticket proceeds for Passionately Pink and another $510.00 in raffle and merchandise proceeds went to the NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure. Look for us again in Oct 2010. POTMC Summer Ceilidh In July 2009, Clann C produced, hosted and worked a Summer Ceilidh for Path of the Moon Collective, to raise funds to help pay the org’s quarterly rental fees to the UU Fellowship. This event raised over $700.00 for POTMC. Race for the Cure In May 2009 our HPS RavenHarte, her husband and their family participated in the Race for the Cure at Salem College in W/S, and with a couple of friends raised $657.00 Bowl for Kids Sake In March 2010 & 2009 Clann C as a whole participated in the Big Brother Big Sisters fundraiser “Bowl for Kids Sake” in High Point, NC raising $375.00 for this event. RECENT PAST SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY EFFORTS POTMC At least twice a year Clann C performs a public ritual for Path of the Moon Collective. BO ON THE GO PODSHOW RavenHarte was honored to be interviewed in Nov 2009 by Sam Thompson for the Bo On The Go Podshow on the Western Mystery tradition and her spiritual path. JOURNEY OF THE SPIRIT In 2009, RavenHarte was privileged to host 2 separate lectures at EBN2 in Greensboro for the Journey of the Spirit lecture series; one on Paganism/Wicca, and one on Kabbalah/Qabala. PAGAN PRIDE DAY In 2007, Clann C performed the opening ritual for the Central NC PPD festivities in Raleigh. RavenHarte also hosted workshops for Central NC PPD in 2008 & 2007, and for Savannah PPD in 2005 . NIGHTSIDE EVENTS In 2009, RavenHarte was invited to participate as one of four priests who wrote & helped perform the closing ritual at the House Kheperu conference in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2008, Clann Caladvwlch participated in the Twilight II vampiric conference in Atlanta, GA where the Elders of Clann C hosted a discussion on the need for tolerance & communication between all Nightside communities.
